My mother is the most amazing person I've ever known in all my 20 years. I know that I don't have to tell everyone how great she is because you already know...but I will anyways! So here's to a woman who never gave up no matter what. To a woman who made me and all my siblings feel like nothing was ever missing in our lives. To a woman who accomplished the impossible. To a woman who never gave up on me when I thought my world was crashing down. (or so I thought...stupid high school drama.) To a woman who knows just what to say when you're feeling down. To a woman who is selfless. To my hero. I love you mom and I don't know where I would be without you...really. If I could ever become even half the woman you are my life would be complete. I love you with all of my heart! Happy Birthday mama!

Oh my gosh! You made me cry too!! I cried by what you said because it was so dang sweet BUT I cried harder because I FORGOT MY BEST FRIEND/SISTER'S BIRTHDAY!! I feel like such a horrible piece of crap! Where is Niki that ALWAYS calls and reminds me when everyone's birthdays are. Well Rach I love your mom too and I agree with EVERYTHING that you said. There are not many people in the world that can go through what she did and come out on top. She is one special lady. I love you my bestest friend and sister Alice!
K, so it's a little late but I just read this post, and I'd like to add that I am the LEADER of the bawling family! haha I didn't even make it past the picture! haha I love you Rach! You're so sweet, and you captured how we all feel about your mama. She truly is an amazing person, and my favorite 2nd mom. It's no wonder her kids turned out so awesome, huh?
